About Us
Since 2006, the parent company Evodant Group Inc. (EGI) has been at the forefront of technological transformation architecting solutions, engineering breakthroughs, and solving complex challenges across multiple industries. What began as a technology consultancy has evolved beyond its humble beginnings.
Symbiogent represents the culmination of almost 20 years of deep technical expertise, real-world problem solving, and relentless innovation, now focused on revolutionizing artificial intelligence.
From Two Decades of Innovation to AI's Next Frontier
Our Foundation Story
Evodant Group didn't start in AI, we earned our way there. Since 2006, we've been the technology partner organizations turn to when conventional solutions aren't enough. From architecting enterprise software systems to securing critical infrastructure, from developing immersive VR experiences to engineering real-time financial and eCommerce platforms, we've solved problems that others couldn't. That experience has crossed the industries of cybersecurity, telecommunications, real estate, media, entertainment and banking, through government and private sectors.
Our AI breakthrough wasn't planned, it was born from necessity. While developing advanced game AI in 2012, our founder discovered the extraordinary limitations trying to achieve a real-time procedural narrative with characters making in-context decisions. Games demand real-time reasoning, explainable decisions, and efficient processing. These challenges plagued the cognitive framework at the time. And enterprise AI today. That breakthrough became the foundation of our neurosymbolic architecture.
Why This Matters Now
The AI industry is at a crossroads. Current approaches are hitting fundamental limits with explainability problems, massive energy consumption, and reasoning failures that make AI unsuitable for critical applications. The solution requires exactly what we've always delivered: deep technical expertise, real-world engineering experience, and the ability to solve problems others can't.
We're not just AI theorists, we're AI engineers with decades of experience building systems that work in the real world.
Yann LeCun notes that scaling alone won’t yield smarter AI, and is not a long-term solution. We agree. Nearly all frontier LLMs are autoregressive next‑token predictors. Not great. Production systems layer on creative "patches" that don’t solve the underlying issues. Core issues of hallucination, long-horizon reasoning, fragile calibration across tasks and grounding brittleness still exist. And this is beyond the energy and time cost of training, with the International Energy Agency (IEA) projecting that global electrical consumption for data centres doubling to ~945 TWh by 2030. Note that inference often dominates total lifetime energy.
This is why we are fanatically pushing the evolution of AI towards super efficient foundational world models with reasoning and understanding.
We're not just building the future, we're building it responsibly, efficiently, and with the engineering excellence that comes from nearly 20 years of making technology work where it matters most.
